Really? Even with Peeke on your top pair and Guenther on your top line?

It's the forwards for me.

I don't actually have a problem with Peeke on the top pairing, because he's beside a guy in Hedman who has demonstrated he can carry a lesser partner, and Peeke is actually a pretty decent defenceman with some upside. I actually like 2B defence better. It's deep and balanced.

But Hayton as a #2C just falls really flat for me. Especially when flanked by a pair of wingers who are decent, but largely strike me as complementary players. I'm also just not really a fan of Stamkos as a Center, though i do like the idea of pairing him with a pure playmaker like Huberdeau. Feels like he's really more of a winger at this point in his career.

I don't really like Shane Wright at #3C for 2a either...but i can see the idea that both Carlsson and Sissons can be potential Centers instead. So it's easier for me to see that line working some way or other.

But i really don't have a good read on things and don't actually know what i'm talking about with this. So there's that. But that's just my assessment or how i looked at things.

Your top 6 had 259 points last season compared to my team that had 377 points.

Robertson > Stamkos
Tavares > Huberdeau
Horvat > Palat
Marchessault > Burakovsky
Compher > Hayton
Duclair > Guenther
But its for next year
