I wouldn't say last year's offense is Belichick's "vision".

But... they tried for Stafford and got outbid by the Rams.

They can't get Watson or Wilson.

So, who else is out there that's significantly better than Cam Newton?

What do you consider to be trying? Bringing in Matt Patricia?

The NFL's "Legal Tampering" period starts today, which means that teams can talk to pending free agents, but can't sign them until Wednesday.

For what it's worth, the last time the Patriots had close to this much cap space to spend was 2017. That year, they...

* Signed Stephon Gilmore
* Re-Signed Dont'a Hightower
* Traded for Brandin Cooks
* Signed Lawrence Guy
* Signed Rex Burkhead
* Traded for Kony Ealy
* Traded for Dwayne Allen
* Re-Signed Duron Harmon
* Re-Signed Alan Branch

Obviously, not all of those moves worked out, but they did spend. Hoping for some significant moves in the coming days.

Bill's salary was reported on by f***ing Mike Florio and confirmed by multiple sources including those close to the team like Greg Bedard. So stick your "muh speculation" up your ass.
Florio literally said it rumored or speculated to be above $20 million to talk about his salary which not only doesnt affect the cap, but also isnt public record like a players salary is disingenuous at best
