Lucic has negative value even at 50% retained. You’re not including him in a trade for a #1 D.

A package of Puljujarvi + ‘18 1st + Nurse/Klefbom might get the attention of a team not wanting to sell an important asset. I wouldn’t pay that price for OEL though.

What makes you think a 0,5 ppg winger will land anything near Adam Larsson?

Oilers don't have the depth to trade multiple quality assets for one, no matter how good he is.

A big part of depth has to do with where it slots. If for some reason negotations fail last minute, I would trade Nurse and the 1st for OEL. OEL and Larsson would be one of the best top pairs in the league. Klefbom, Sekera (if healthy), Russel, Benning, Bear, Jones is actually pretty solid depth behind those 2 if they don't have to play the big minutes.
