I just think both won't be here past next summer when both are UFAs. That is why I am lumping them together.

I agree with this. So why not deal Schenn when Coburn and MacD get healthy?

Nov. 6:

"It felt okay," MacDonald said after skating for about 20 minutes. "It's a good opportunity to get out there and feel the puck a little bit."

MacDonald hopes to be ready to play again in about two weeks, while Coburn is expected to play his first game since the Flyers' season opener either Saturday against Colorado or following a five-day break a week from Friday versus Columbus.

MacDonald felt stiff during his Thursday skate.

"I'm going to have to work the legs a little bit to get them going again," he said. "It's one of those things where [my leg] hasn't been moving a whole lot lately, and skating is a whole, new dynamic on top of that. It's going to take a little bit to get back into things."

The expectation is MacDonald could play in about a week from today (Nov. 15).
