Isn't Paxton somewhat injury prone?

I guess...The guy has delivered an ace performance over at least 120+ innings over the past 3 seasons though and has made 20, 24 and 28 starts over that span. What the Yankees gave up is easily worth that. Hopefully he stays on the field a little more though.

He was relatively healthy last year. No major injuries last year but more bad luck (getting hit by a liner on his arm, bumps and bruises). He probably would've pitched 190 innings last year if it weren't for those.

Gosh, the Mariners have given up. That franchise man.

Sheffield is really really good.

He has had command issues throughout his time in the Yankees' system, but he has potential to become really good, yes.

Still, this was a necessary trade for the Yankees and they don't give up too much for a quality starter.
