Certainly better options out there. Imagine this comes down largely to Quick being willing to take a very cheap contract to play for his favorite team growing up.

I do not care that he was on the Kings in 2014. I think it's a silly reason not to want a player.

I don't want him cause he's a trash goalie that will do NOTHING for us.

He's been trash for a minute.

One year at .910 in the last 6 seasons.

I don't care where he is from, nor what his favorite team was.

This is... woof. He is a good veteran presence but he is absolutely toast. I'd have more faith in Lundqvist coming out of retirement with no practice to be our backup than Quick.

Tell you what, Rangers. I'm also a terrible goaltender and grew up as a Rangers fan. Furthermore, I need the 750K - 1M a LOT more than Quick does and I'll win just as many games. Whaddaya say, Drury?
