Nemeth was arguably the worst defenseman on Detroit last season. If I were New York I would have worked to get Mark Staal back on that 2 million per year contract before signing Nemeth.

It been a while since I have seen a guy make consistently bad unforced errors at the rate Nemeth does. I think his wife must make amazing Swedish food and they didn't want Lundkvist to get home sick so they brought him in to be his team uncle. No other logical explanation because 5 games into his career Schneider is already the better player.

No, it’s not just the term. The AAV is far too much for a guy who isn’t an NHL level defenseman.

He’s a literally a detriment to this team.
