Stings to waive so many good depth pieces but I can't fit under the cap with them.

We have star power everywhere and depth for days. Great two way centers with wingers that flat out know how to put the puck in the back of the net. To give you an idea of the firepower on this team, last year it combined for 341 goals even with Stamkos and Datsyuk missing half the season each.

You've seen Seguin with Benn. Now picture how he'll be with Kane and O'Rielly. You've seen Henrik's passes. Now picture him passing to Kunitz and Gaborik who can finish (unlike Henrik's twin). Look at that 3rd line. Doesn't it just SCREAM leadership and all-around good plays? How about that 4th-line? Quick, fast and plays on an edge.

I'm happy with how my defense turned out too. All 6 guys play a very well-rounded game and are capable of putting up some points too. This will help make Rinne and Crawford's life way easier.

My lineup features four balanced forward lines that are all more than capable of scoring.

I have the best defense in this game. Doughty, Subban and Hedman are all top ten defensemen in the NHL and the remaining five defensemen on my team are all top 4 d-men. Jake Muzzin played alongside Doughty on the Stanley Cup champion Kings and he's on my bottom pairing.

All of my players (forwards and defensemen) are playing their natural positions in my lineup. Unlike some other teams, I don't have centers playing on the wing, right wingers playing left wing, or left handed d-men playing on their off side. Constructing a realistic lineup deserves some bonus points.

Kari Lehtonen is a legitimate #1 goalie in today's NHL and currently ranks 14th in career save percentage (ahead of Jonathan Quick, Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur)

I like to think I have one of the deepest teams in the league. Center depth of Kopitar, Bergeron, Richards is hard to beat. Top 3 lines are solid scoring lines and my 4th line has 3 defensive specialists to help make Varlamov's life a little easier.

I believe this team could do very very well. Led offensively by the 1st line that is truly elite and 2 great lines mixed with elite young talent and quality veterans. We also have a very talented and defensively savvy 4th line.

Our defence is flooded with great young Dmen. This team will have no difficulties moving the puck and keeping puck possession alive for our dynamite offence.

In goal we have one of the leagues best in Bobrovsky. A young goalie who already has a vezina to his name. Hiller is the perfect backup to take the load off of Bob for a good 25 games.

This team is one that can be very competitive now and even more so in the future
