For sure because those players are just dying to play in Arizona.
Do you ever think before you post?

They don't have to want to play there, they just need to use it as leverage. It seems you're the one not using that piece of meat between your shoulders

If I'm Arizona, I start the campaign of landing Matthews by making Toronto match an offer sheet on Nylander, then Marner, then see how they feel about matching 15m on Matthews
They might not even have a team by next summer, nevermind the money to sign a 15m offersheet

And if the Leafs don't match? Where do they have to play then?

Are we in a weird parallel universe where the Coyotees are the richest sports franchise?

What if they don't match Nylander, and they lose their picks? Then they can't offer sheet Matthews. Use your shoulder meat.

Zona could offer 8m and Zim sure Toronto would rather have Nylander than the 1st, second and 3rd round picks.
Above 8.118 add another first. Toronto takes the picks if the compensation is 2x 1sts, one 2nd, one 3rd

15M is probably more net revenue than the 'yotes make in half a season...
