Lol, i'm not upset about this at all.

Maintains a standard of professionalism. Sends Naz a clear message. Naz seems to be taking it in stride, not making any excuses, apologized to everyone. Good learning experience and wakeup call. And ultimately, this helps the tank. Without Naz our centre depth is non existent... guaranteed loss.

Literally this is a win win from every angle.

Except for the fact that this hurts my fantasy team. **** you Horachek.

I guess this confirms that the Leafs care more about people showing up to meetings than they do showing up for games.

Paul Hendrick @HennyTweets
Zach sill plays centre in Kadri's absence. tmltalk

Mark Masters @markhmasters
Kadri says incident "uncharacteristic"; says he's never missed a meeting & been sent home in his career ... "normally I'm pretty punctual"

Toronto Maple Leafs @MapleLeafs
Peter Horachek confirms Nazem Kadri will not play tonight. Jonathan Bernier is your expected starter in goal. #TMLtalk

Stephen Whyno @SWhyno
Horachek on Kadri: "I talked about his past and I talked about today, he wasn't playing." Wouldn't elaborate on what from Kadri's past.

Bruce Arthur @bruce_arthur
At this point I'm just waiting for Peter Horachek to crack open and say everything he knows and burn the world

Why doesn't Horachek just shut up and keep everything in house!

Are you trying to say that our center depth is amazing with him in the line up? Because it is far from it, with or without Kadri, lets no kid ourselves. You know your centers suck when taking out a 45 point center is considered a major blow.

I think that's what he has done and why all the twitter posters are speculating on why Kadri is sitting for tonight's game.

When you say something like; "I talked about his past", it opens up a lot of negative speculation. Just thinking he didn't need to add that.

I think you mean easy. Easiest win of the year by far.

Probably don't even have to show up.

Gonna get blown out again.

Never mind lack of center depth, most of those lines have no depth. When you add the first line no show, this game is going to be a loss on epic proportions.

With no kadri, how many powerplays does this team get tonight?

Maybe he thinks he hasn't been playing well, if you remember the same thing happened, when Gardiner was playing badly and they sat him down too, I don't see a problem.

Good lord what a brutal line-up that is. Does anyone still think this team is going to go on a big winning streak and ruin our draft position?
