Makes zero sense for the Jets to trade a top 6 winger to fill their 2C hole.
It just moves that hole to the wing.
It just moves that hole to the wing.
Only if they throw in PuljujarviRoslo and 10th for re-signed RNH.
No thanks. Don’t need more magic beans, especially at the cost of quality players playing in a position of weakness.Roslo and 10th for re-signed RNH.
Honest question...do you think RNH re-signs if the Oilers don't make or are knocked out early next playoffs? No thanks. Don’t need more magic beans, especially at the cost of quality players playing in a position of weakness.
If we don’t make it that means it was another shit year and he could be gone. But we’ll make it in and he’ll probably come back. Rarely does anyone wanna stick around here long term but he’s one of the players who actually is committed to the team and the city. The fans love him, the city loves him, and we have McDrai. He will stay.Honest question...do you think RNH re-signs if the Oilers don't make or are knocked out early next playoffs?

We wouldn't do the first trade, so why would we throw in more?Only if they throw in Puljujarvi
Do you want a lot for Neal?Really comes down to what are you offering
Can’t see him cost much. He’s shown he can score so really it comes down to offer. Oilers getting cap relief in player trade? Neal being traded for pick? Etc etcDo you want a lot for Neal?
Hmm, I am thinking it is more likely that Neal comes with a pick than he is traded for a pick. Can’t see him cost much. He’s shown he can score so really it comes down to offer. Oilers getting cap relief in player trade? Neal being traded for pick? Etc etc

He played center anytime Draisaitl was with McDavid. He works well with other high end players whether he is playing wing or center.Does he even play center anymore?

It wasn't a theory, it was a question. So your theory is he won’t stay in Edmonton because of a lack of a playoff success, but he would stay in Winnipeg... because...?
No. Roslovic and 10th is an easy no go. That’s just downgrading for the sake of downgrading
Too many people against it.Can’t see him cost much. He’s shown he can score so really it comes down to offer. Oilers getting cap relief in player trade? Neal being traded for pick? Etc etc
All other Hab fans don't want it even 14th and Neal for nil. So, have to give up on that idea. Must be because 5.75 million bring us in free agency. We would pay to move him. Probably value wise around a Puljujarvi or 2nd value. That said we don’t have a 2nd. I’d consider 14ov + Neal for a late 1st
Edmonton would be adding for Ehlers due to age and contract, not Winnipeg adding.Nuge + puljujarvi for connor + later pick
nuge for ehlers + 2nd
Any interest Or base on these ideas?
Yep. Even with RNH resigned long term it would be moronic for the Jets to trade Connor or Ehlers for him. You don’t trade the better, younger player just because he’s a winger and Nuge is a C.Edmonton would be adding for Ehlers due to age and contract, not Winnipeg adding.
Plus it just moves the hole from center to wing, all to just get older and more expensive.Yep. Even with RNH resigned long term it would be moronic for the Jets to trade Connor or Ehlers for him. You don’t trade the better, younger player just because he’s a winger and Nuge is a C.
