Also not sure what has happened to Bouwmeester but his offensive game is absolutely horrible. I'd rather see Gunnarsson or Cole on the powerplay than him.

The only reason I can think of is he's the fall back defenseman. I read that they have asked him to basically be a stay at home defensman now and allow petro to move up the ice.

Cole on the PP would make more sense with his shot, Gunnerson may not have as heavy of a shot, but it's still good and he's much better defensive then Cole and could cover the blue line better and deal with rushes the opposite way
