Confirmed Trade: [NSH/TOR] Miikka Salomaki for Ben Harpur

Always kinda liked Salomaki, annoying grinder to play against, very physical, but the hockey IQ of the average grinder in EA NHL Be a GM, ie not a whole lot.

Harpur was in the NHL for the whole 18-19 season (kinda), at least knows the drill.

Salomaki may help the Leafs more than Harpur with the Preds, but who knows... depth trade.

When Salomaki first broke in with us he was actually quite decent in his role --- played a kamikaze style hitting everything in sight, fierce work ethic. Perfect 4th liner. But that style may have taken its toll. Injuries piled up and he just hasn't been the same since. Without that same physical presence, he's not really an NHL player, unfortunately.

Harpur... this is the Preds acknowledging that, against all odds, Jared Tinordi is with the big team to stay. Harpur gives them a Tinordi clone to fill his spot on Milwaukee.

The at least one goal was this year in a 5 game trial, but he never has been, nor will he ever be a "goal scorer" in the NNL.

Actually we have kinda gotten off the spotting good defenseman gig we aren’t good at anything now.
