Indeed. Salomaki may not score much but he doesn't leak in the defensive end either and I believe his career average NHL time on ice has been about 10 minutes. Usually those guys don't score that much for some reason. Not that I think he would've been Wayne Gretzky if he had 5 mins more average ice time but those offensive stats could look little bit better if he had more ice time.

I think that he can hang as a 4th liner in the NHL and I hope that he gets a chance with the Leafs. Also the guy has had some pretty significant injuries during his career. He's gone through some rough times for sure.

Salomäki is a fast skating, hard hitting grinder with some scoring touch.
you Leafs absolutely could use him in the 4th line.

Sometimes kinda brain dead in the o-zone but otherwise a solid 4th liner nevertheless
who can defend well and physically roll you over on your keister.
