I knew it bounced, but holy ****...looking at it again...that was knee-high.
Any objections to me taking the GDT for today?
So physics is against the rules? That puck shouldn't have bounced like that. I was always taught the puck should land flat on the ice.
Shoot, sorry buddy; just tossed one up, though I'm fine having TMI or someone merge into yours if you want to put more effort into it.

it is going to bounce even with the perfect drop.
Not THAT high. I'm liking Jeff Marek's proposal of just putting the puck on the dot, let the skaters position and then blow the whistle. No fuss, no muss.
With the way refs are handling puck drops lately I'd actually entertain this idea.
Sorry guys
Someone who feels lucky post a gdt and run with the mojo and hopefully it'll be awhile before I need to try another streak.
Horrible call and a horrible drop of the puck.
linesman looks like he's playing quarters....
Good point. Also looking at the gif, is it just me or does it look like the puck also touched Granlund?
looks like it in the .gif... but they had a few angles on the broadcast and Granlund wasn't that close, it was all Gaustad.
