Saw your post before you edited it, I just don't believe it until there is a confirmed story on nhl.com or a press conference from Gary Bettman himself confirming the sale of the Phoenix Coyotes.

This. I just want to sleep for the next 48 hours. There have been plenty of rumors thrown out with past attempts to buy the team. If it happens, it does. If not, well I'm going to enjoy as much of this last year as I can since I live in Buckeye.

Opposite, they have interest in QC not getting a team since their owner, Bell, owns part of the Habs. It's a long story and I don't feel like explaining everything, but RDS does NOT want the team to come to Quebec City and have been consistantly reporting all the positive news for the Coyotes while ignoring the negative ones. Pierre Lebrun doesn't even work for RDS, he works for ESPN.

If it doesn't close, I'm sure they will drag it at least through February to get the last payment from the season ticket holders that chose the payment plan. I know my last payment is February 15th. I won't be paying that if it doesn't close even if it means losing the rest of my tickets. Screw that.
