Well the key will be the goalies. Smith will have to play 80 to 90% of the games. With this shortend season, it will be tough to do. If he pulls a muscle or gets banged up a little, we are done. Barbs is a good backup and he is going to have to play more in back to back games. Visiten might see some action. I think teams with 2 good goalies will be stronger than a team with one great goalie.

The positive from all this is that they are a pretty good gamble if you are into betting.

Most places are giving them 40-1 or 50-1 odds to win the stanley cup. There are only about three teams with worse odds.
