No games on Halloween?

So is Halloween the only day of the NHL season this year, besides Christmas, the two other days over Christmas break, Thanksgiving and all star break, in which there are no games at all for the entire night?

Usually there's always games on Halloween. It did fall on a Monday this year, which is usually the slowest night in hockey. Only 2 or 3 games on most Monday's usually. But there's usually at least 2.

It was weird this year. I had to watch WWE Raw instead.

Frankly it didn't bother me. I drank beer and ate pizza as normal but I watched horror films instead of hockey last night.

Even though I do watch both a lot.

I kind of feel like it's paranoia from the NHL not wanting to deal with the security issues of people in costumes and such.

Halloween is dying in our ****** PC culture. No I'm not being sarcastic.
