OP provides reasons for NJ to trade, but not the Preds. No idea how this helps Nashville.

I would suggest Walsh from Jersey. RHD that will not get a chance with the newest defenders just drafted. It's time he gets a shot. Thought he could be the Fabbro replacement. But the Foote move may negate this. Walsh and a pick. Walsh has to go through waivers next yr and would get picked off. Had a good year last yr in Utica with 43 pts. Jeannot haul probably makes Trenin return out of reach for us.

No BS, that wasn’t my intention. I was just trying to think of a prospect that wasn’t a blue chip that was a forward that would be a 4th line role. I’d part with Graeme Clarke and a 2nd if that’s what it’d take.

No worries, I wasn't singling you out, but throw a rock into a crowd of Devils and Canucks fans, odds are you'll hit one who posted a thread like that. At least this one, from a role perspective, made sense.
