people want to crap all over JT Miller and his contract, he’s atleast a ppg center who wins face offs. Palat hasn’t scored 20 goals and 50 plus points in years….and makes only 2 million less then JT Miller….

let’s hope those Tampa playoff numbers weren’t propped up by the stars…

Palat will have 4 more years on his contract when Miller’s 7 year/8m deal starts.

Both contracts will likely end in tears but one‘s ending a lot sooner.

Not saying this a good contract. I didn't like the contract the day it was signed.


He's not a 20 goals scorer and never will be.

20 goals scorer are worth 4M+ nowadays anyway.

Complaining about Palat's contract makes sense only if you haven't watched the Devils play the last two seasons - or if he's on someone's fantasy team and hasn't put up offensive numbers.

Palat, and to the same extent Eric Haula as well as Graves and Marino, have provided exactly what New Jersey was missing last season.
