My goalie union membership compels me to say that the rebound was Uber juicy but Mete didn't do anyone any favors getting so completely outmuscled in front of the net.

Im a goalie too. Mete didnt do his best but that puck should have been covered 99.9% of the time period!!!

The team showed a lot of spirit and heart in a tough back to back. I wasn't expecting anything tonight but they made a believer out of me, so, yeah, tough loss.

Every shot was an adventure on Niemi. Definitely need to take another look at Lindgren when he's healthy.

Not a chance. Niemi couldn't even handle shots from center ice.

Vasi is a much much much (x99) better goalie than Niemi. Vasi being bad tonight was the main reason we had a shot a winning this game.

I guess the universe's balance was preserved by Niemi having a terrible night.

It’s like Cam Ward. He’s had a starting job almost his entire career with pretty pedestrian numbers because he had an incredible Cup run.

They barely touched the damn puck though.
They needed better performances by Niemi but also from Weber and the whole Domi's line.

I thought they managed it well. The legs were not going to be the same in the 3rd period obviously, but they had a structure and stuck to it. Chances were minimal.
