Suzuki trains with O'Reilly who is exactly the player I hope KK (and Suzuki) becomes. He should take notes.

I'd say so. He's already a good 2C.

Pierre Lebrun was saying that he thinks if Suzuki gets a bit quicker that he'll be extremely dangerous. Praised him the entire first intermission.

Yeah, it was a great game from him. Second most ice time behind Armia, so he was the most used C last night.

He skates very well but still needs to improve his initial steps. If he can add some explosiveness to his first steps, he'll rocket up the scoring stats every year.

He gushed about Suzuki. Still can't believe we got lucky and grabbed this kid.

Well deserved. That line looks large as well,they can all handle the biscuit and protect it.

Yeah he's got everything it takes but more explosiveness would go a long way. Still, nowhere near as slow as people made him out to be and a lot stronger.

Strength was the nicest surprise for me. 20 years old and he's already shrugging off good NHL Dmen like nothing.

What I like the most about him is his constant smile. Even when he takes a big hit, he gets up with a smile or a facial expression that looks like a smile.

I read that MB was gunning for Cody Glass but settled on Suzuki. I was impressed with Glass at the WJC but wouldn't it be something if Suzuki becomes the better NHLer.
