Not sure I've seen much change in Petan's game in the minors. Same game, lesser competition.
Let's see if it translates this time for him.

My question is why did they play Adam Lowry so soon when all he did was last two games before re-aggravating his upper-body injury?
Ugh, if that's the case, the playoffs are going to take a toll on him judging by the type of injury it seems to be.He was 100% apparently....or close to it.....but perhaps he has a chronic type issue that is going to require surgery eventually (hopefully in the offseason) and it may be easily aggravated
Hopefully they don't actually play Poolman ahead of either upfront tomorrow.
It would be complete idiocy to play Poolman at forward when you have Petan and Lemieux. Honestly, why is that even a notion they would float?? It had to be a joke.
If they actually play Dano-Petan-Lemieux as a line like is being speculated they’re gonna see less than 5 minutes of ice time lol.
That would be the best case scenario for sure yeah.Jump on them quick, go up a few goals and give the 4th line a chance to play.
I find it kind of annoying that they waited until now to call these players up instead of yesterday or this morning, presumably to save some money which amounts to what like 10k for the day between these 2 players? That's pocketchange for an NHL team. These guys should have been practicing with the team today.

He's played a way more aggressive game with the Moose this year -- faster and harder on the puck, and getting rid of it more quickly. Will it translate to the NHL? Actually playing him seems like a good way to find out.
This is my take as well. Likely something chronic that will need off season surgery. An amazing amount of players require shoulder surgery once their team's season ends. Likely he will need to play through the pain and discomfort until then.He was 100% apparently....or close to it.....but perhaps he has a chronic type issue that is going to require surgery eventually (hopefully in the offseason) and it may be easily aggravated
