Dollar for doughnuts it was
the SAME guy!
I've a hater, I guess.
I take it the Port Hardy Totems getting voted last has to do with it being built for the future (young NHL stars drafted early with veteran role players later to meet the cap floor, though no dead weight contracts, certainly valuable role guys in today's NHL, though paid more than most cap-ceiling clubs can afford: Orpik, Girardi, Brown, backup goalie Anderson).
Though if you look at the NHL performances of that mostly young squad, they have outscored last season some teams in this draft for sure. The ONLY prospect on it is Jack Eichel. Everyone else is a solidly producing NHL player now (not three years ago, not projected future). I wager it'd be a playoff team in the 16-team playoff 24-team draft league of this "Re-do".
EDIT: I just noticed that the team that finished first had Panarin in a top-6 forward role.
Panarin-Turris - Schenn must be money! Petan the third line pivot, a blueline with Ehrhoff, Bogosian, Merrill, McNabb and the starting goalie drafted in the 18th round in Howard. HAHAHA! Zemgus the magician, and a popular one, it seems. Good on ya.
