You're out of controlWe got Girgensons, Samuelsson and Johansson.
But we still have Girgensons, Samuelsson and Johansson.

Same goes for folks complimenting his draft skills. That’s all I’m saying. Can’t have it both ways.
The fact he didn't even go to Vancouver seems to indicate that he wasn't even sure he would be drafted at all.A 3rd pick is decidedly not a "high pick" to me. That's square in the middle rounds, where NHL teams start to see LARGE variances in lists. I'm sure Portillo was far lower on some teams boards. But I'd also be amazed if we were the only team to rate him so highly.
Once the draft gets into this area, it's truly a crapshoot.

Aho is one of the notable ones, and he went early in the secondOr maybe he and his family couldn't afford it? Or were on vacation? Or had some other obligations?
Not all potential draftees attend the draft..........
Huglen has insane skill. Scored a lacrosse style goal against Canada in the Hlinka-Gretzky tournament
People I respect a LOT were talking up this kid’s skill. I think he goes another year before Minn career starts right?
That's what EliteProspects indicates, although I wouldn't take that as gospel.People I respect a LOT were talking up this kid’s skill. I think he goes another year before Minn career starts right?
Elite Prospects says 20-21, so wondering if he's in the USHL for a year first?Committed to play at Minnesota next year
