They haven't had a top 2 pick since Kane and we all know this shit is rigged anyway

After the Patrick debacle, I’m weary of the Flyers having the top 2 picks. Unsure about this draft, but in a draft with a consensus top 2, the GM is putting his job on the line if he selects someone surprising and those consensus picks turn into the real deal. They need to find a way to get Bedard though

That far in and you already know the Flyers are picking #6 and the rest doesn't matter. Teams in example are interchangeable as all it takes is two teams missing from the order to "end" it.

My non-currency wager is that the Flyers pick 5th.
The first overall pick seems like Wright by everyone but after that everybody else is all over the place . I am hoping for Cooley cause center is a place of need but hitting on the pick we have is way more important .

Bettman doesn't care about any of that. He just wants the Blackhawks to be good for the market ratings. They haven't picked in the top 2 in 15 years. That's about to change.

Cooley would be sick because he's from Pittsburgh and I think it'd be funny if he got really really good and our best player was a f***ing yinzer. Also Cooley and Frost down the middle I'd like that.

Also, I thought Philly was a big TV market where ratings have slipped recently. Shouldn't he be fixing the draft for the Flyers?

Yes - Hextall f***ed us by refusing to fire Hakstol and being overly reluctant to promote prospects.
Then we got f***ed even further when Fletcher replaced him. He squandered all of the cap space Hextall left him, traded a bunch of assets for bad players, installed terrible development coachs, and just generally f***ing destroyed this franchise.
