I don't get why MB did this?
I would have liked more in exchange, but a lot of the players people seemed to like at 50 should be available at 63.
I don't get why MB did this?
I’m not trying to sound like a broken record, but losing 14 spots in a draft - almost half an entire round - just to pick up an additional 5th is ****ing stupid.
My knowledge is pretty thin once we get into the late second. What are some names that everyone else likes.
I'm okay with that. But you'd better do better than a 5th rounder for it. I mean wtf?Timmins likely has someone in mind that will be there at 64th, so why not get an extra pick.
Its Bergevin after all , what did we expect. Taking a really bad contract to get a free firstOkay... there's moving down and then there's getting ripped off.
One thing to move down. Another thing to do it for a 5th... that makes zero sense.
Sure he is. Don't you think he asks Timmins opinion's when it comes to picks, depending on who's left on their list?
Probably but there is no way that Timmins did not talk to him about going down.
I'm fine with the Struble pick.
I still hate the trade down, I'd have rather traded it for LAK's 2020 2nd rounder or something, a 3rd and a 5th is perplexing. Again, I'll trust our scouts on this.
What is our order of picks in the 5th round now? Seems like we have 4 or 5
I know, calisse c'est long.Could the slow ass Canes have any more 2nd rounders?
Jesus lol
And makes those trades based on info Timmins gives him
It's the only explanation which would make sense. I'm thinking they value some guys alot more highly than the general consensus.
Lol, all these trades are pissing me off. WTF BergevinCarolina trading #59 to Minn for #73 and #99
Again... trading down is fine. And makes those trades based on info Timmins gives him
