Someone said in the previous thread that they were able to enter the tournaments they had the requirements for?

So, have they fixed it?

Also, good morning for me so far but could've been better;

Bought Bieksa for around 1,500 BIN. Put him up for 3,000 and 4,000 BIN.
Bought Wolski for 800 and put him up for 1,000 to 1,500 BIN.

Missed out on Pronger for 1,300 as I didn't have enough pucks and Talbot for 900.

Some great deals if you go to the 1 hour mark.

Huh, interesting. I think I'll try this since I don't have the pucks for bidding wars.

Got an Ondrej Pavalec out of my preorder pack today. Looks like I'm forced to use him on my roster instead of cash in on the value of goalies versus their performance.

Why can't I get a good player out of a pack I buy, but I get one in each of my preorder packs? Ug.

E: Case in point. Use 400 free MSP from the Bing Rewards stuff to see if it was me or not. Bought a Mega Pack, 18 rares right?

Got a Helm, next best cards are Condra and Geoffrion.

50 game contract, RW-C card, Tri-City jersey, Panthers jersey, VAN change team, 4-game injury card, 25-game contract, Caps jersey, COL change team. The others are likely the 4 80 overall nobodies, 2-game injury card and +4 training.

So guys how do I build a good team without spending real money? I've been playing with my starter pack and been able to win games I shouldn't but I can't seem to get any better players with the pucks I earned. And I don't get that many picks either. What are some tips to make a good team?

Just scored a Lecavalier BIN for 3500 and a Radulov BIN for 800. How much could I get for Lecavalier on PS3?

Wow, you are one lucky man. I'm going to have to save up some pucks and go deal hunting later today.

A few posts up you'll notice that Karma still has a lot more to do for me before we're even.

Definitely going to keep the Gagne temporarily and see if he's any good though.

Going off of this, how can you get out of the cycle where you earn pucks by playing games, but end up having to spend them all on contracts? I just started playing HUT this year and I have no idea how people manage to have thousands and thousands of pucks when I make ~400 a game but have to buy contracts with them just to be able to play the next game. I just don't have the pucks to buy desirable players and flip them for a profit.

Yup :(

I saw Karl Alzner at 50. Start bidding, and finally price went all the way up to 1,500 :(

I guess I should wait for night bidding.

They all buy packs. Preorder packs, Season Ticket packs, Stanley Cup edition packs, etc.

They also buy enough players and keep a bunch of scrubs on the 4th typically, just cycling the scrubs in and out of the lineup to not waste contracts on them.

Got Varlamov for 2.7k and flipped almost immediately for 7k. Bet I could have done better but it's still a good chunk of profit.

Also, doing the NHL moments an playing tourneys can help rise your puck count.

I honestly cannot believe what I just witnessed. Pavelec let in 6 goals from point shots. What a completely terrible goaltender. Giguere does better for me.

Still trying to sell Gretzky. First time around, it only took a few hours to sell him for 100,000. I've been trying to sell this one for 100,000 for 16 hours and not a single bid. If the time runs out on this one, I'm going to try to get someone to trade me Stamkos or Crosby for him. We'll see if that works. Doubt it.

Is Pronger for 1800 a good deal? I might try to flip him but he's one of my favorite players.

Hudler for 850, Vlasic for 400. Should be able to make some pucks of these deals. Even if I dont they are decent additions to my team, especially with their speed.

Oh man. EJ for 2,250, Cammaleri for 1,850, Burrows for 750 and Kulemin for 500. All within the last couple hours. Getting real lucky today.

Still trying to get rid of Bieksa for around 2,750 and BIN 3,500. Would enable me to set up for the tournaments.
