Really wished we got it in regulation but the OT result must be crushing for Pitt. We have it right where we want them.

Girardi and Staal to me were our best players overall, best forward was Brassard, who has played out of his skin in this series. Hagelin again doing much of the dirty work, skating pucks out, working along the boards, looking for setups.

What we saw in the 1st period and 1/2 just can't happen against a better team than this. Luckily the Pens are not one of the better playoff teams and didn't make us pay for our sloth. We could've easily gone 2 or 3 goals down if they were able to click. A club like Chicago or Tampa would punish us.

Dan Girardi was an absolute monster in this game, yet again. That shot block in OT sums him up in one play. What a tremendous player.
