If you were picking just on who plays the best in the CHL, he would've probably been picked in the top two rounds. I don't think anyone's concerned about how he'll produce in junior hockey, its whether he's one of the shorter players that is able to score in pro hockey. Some can, some can't. Very hard to predict who will and who won't.

Rangers brass love this kid.

All moxy. Not afraid, and highly skilled.

He's undersized yes, but I don't think it matters as long as he can control pucks at his top speed. It's not all there yet, but the signs are good.

Three more summers of skating and weightlifting, and he'll hit another gear.

His dad was one of the high hockey IQ type of players in his day. The guy was a scorer. His kid had some bad injury luck, but he reminds me of a Brendan Gallager type of player without the douch bag agitator to his game.
