Wasn’t this the plan for a QC Ahl team
So instead of a bus ride for call-ups, the Canadiens would just dispatch a barge to Trois-Rivières?

How far from the AHL and NHL team are they is it like. How philly's set up is at the moment where the teams are under like a 45 mile blanket or farther ?
Is there any more info on this arena? I can't seem to find anything online about it.
Right, because it's REALLY important to have your minor league team far enough away...It's only around 1 hour 30 minutes to Laval and Montreal with car. Laval and Montréal are 20 minutes away from each other. Philadelphia-Lehigh Valley-Reading all have about an 1 1/2 hour distance with car, is not very far, is very similar to potential Montréal-Laval-Trois-Rivières.

San Jose is one of the most apathetic clubs when it comes to the ahl. They Could not care less if they lose every single game and draw less then 1000 people in the sap center as long as they develop quality NHL players.Yeah, because it’s not like San José Barracuda are third to last in the AHL for attendance and Toronto definitely isn’t a massive metro area that is equally wealthy and obsessed with hockey. Without a doubt the biggest hockey market in the world and has a history of supporting hockey of many levels.
Get real, guy.

Growlers aren't going to move
you don't do what McDonald and his partnership did it wasn't clear if Newfoundland nor convincing Toronto, to return to Mile One, Tater, would even be acceptedNever say never. They may not move this year or next, but 5 or 10 years down the line you never know what could happen.
