Zucc was our best player tonight bar none. Saved a sure goal and then created what turned out to be the game winner out of thin air and tenacity....then got the insurance goal. Great game.

I like the 4th line right now. I know a lot of people don't like Paul Carey but he and Nieves have put three or four really good games in a row together whether or not they're working with Fast or with Vesey. Fast has been scoring goals right and left lately as well.

Shattenkirk was fighting the puck again tonight a bit. McDonagh as well even if he put up a +3.

Henrik was good too.

The play were Zucc saved a goal was his own doing though, and then he turned the puck over for a prime chance that Hank saved. I don't disagree he had a good game, but he could've been a goat also.

I don't know what ppl can expect any more of Carey. As a fourth liner, he has been more than sufficient.

If Carey keeps it up, then that will be a real boost. I was not one way or the other on him when he came up first time, then again. I just had not seen enough of him to to understand the posts about him. I agree that he is showing some good stuff out there. He works hard and seems to be getting the hang of it now.

Those guys loved Nicky but the whole 79-84 group was something special. Such a great group of personalities.

That group was way before my time as a hockey fan but I have meet Duguay and other alumni from that era (I think) on Rangers casino night and they all came across as great guys.

I liked that 79-84 group even more than our 94 cup team. Thats how fun and nutty they were at times. I wish I could go to one of those casino nights. Thanks for letting me know what Doogs said.
