No Jägermyr, Frölundas official intake:

Axel Langenskiöld (Partille HK)
Hugo Gabrielson (Hovås HC)
Albin Sibbesson (Lerums BK)
Kalle Bartholdsson (Halmstad Hammers)
Adam Niederbach (KB65
Theo Nordlund (Hanhals IF)
William Hallén (Hovås HC)
Lucas Raymond (Frölunda HC)
Gabriel Lundberg (Frölunda HC)
Victor Widlund (Lerums BK)
Theo Niederbach (KB65)
Gustav Portillo (Partille HK)
Philip Granath (Frisk Asker)
Daniel Torgersson (Skärgårdens SK)

Wow, that’s bad.

And Kumlin got in last year but is this age group. Nothing new here but crazy stacked both in J20 and J18 when you can pick between Roos, Hasa, Lerebäck, Rydqvist, Lerebäck Krämer, Berglund, Törnqvist, Nordlund, Kumlin, Bartoldsson, Niederbach for your blueline on the power play.

This is of course also what Patrik Larsson, Karlskrona, talked about the other day. He meant it's crazy how many good players they have and that some will fail.

This will surely make Djurgården mad, since they don't like when teams recruit outside their own area. Hem - Hockeymagasinet

Jokes aside, an interesting discussion.

The discussion is interesting as you say, and in a perfect world it would work just like that. In this case, his arguments sounds a bit hypocritical when he says they signed Holtz early (and to be fair, they probably did so earlier than he says in the article) but that this was different because he "needed to remain in the region". The only reason they signed him early is that he is a wonderkid and they wanted him on their team - and that's exactly why, for example, Luleå signed Wallstedt early and so on. It all comes back to all elite clubs being eager to sign the best players.

Exactly! And that's why it can never be on the clubs because some team will always be willing to go early to get the players. Also why it's incredibly stupid to speak out like this and say they only do it because others do it, which is the reason everyone is doing it, nobody is doing it for fun.

Don't know what the solution would be either. Djurgården seems to think they should have a monopoly on the biggest hockey district in the country which would cause tons of good players to stay with teams that have good junior programs but nowhere to go for pro or even J20 competition. Djurgården have great success with their junior teams producing talent despite lots of players going out of town to play, so in a way that works well, Djurgården gets lots of talent and some of the other talent in Stockholm gets to play for Leksand or Modo or somewhere else with a good program.

Teodor Niederbach is back! Makes his debut tonight against Rögle.

Hm, they f*cked up... the lineup is updated and Edwin Haynes is playing with number 49...

Got really excited there...
