I hope he doesn’t plan to play that 1-3-1 shit the Kings were playing, which they’re still playing under Jonas Hiller.
The Sharks and Oilers didn’t play like that when he coached there. The Sharks played similar to a DeBoer team, which is why DeBoer was a pretty easy transition when they hired him right after they parted with McLellan.

Yeah Cooper's more of a pipedream than Sullivan was, and I figured that was a pipedream too. The only realistic way he'd come is if he ran down his contract and walked away now that they're on the other side of the mountain. I don't know how long he's signed for currently though.
Apparently next year is the last year of his contract based on preliminary research...oh well lol

Either Fitz is really keeping a tight lid, all his candidates are in the playoffs or he’s just waiting for the world’s quietest Friday afternoon to dump ‘Green signs as permanent coach’ on our doorstep along with some early Christmas coal
It's been 10 days since our last game of the season. I wouldn't expect to hear much this soon, especially if he is actually going to cast a wider net.

It’s the playoffs so most reporters probably aren’t chasing stories down right now.
I think is more Strickland’s opinion than anything though.

I'd be more than fine with him if he can coach offense.
I'd rather him than Berube.
I’d be better than any of them.
The one thing about Evason I didn’t realize. His points percentage over the time behind the bench for minny was .639. Around 250 game sample size which isn’t crazy high but also nothing near minuscule.
