With Richard Bachman's latest mask creation he wanted to pay tribute to the legendary author Stephen King. Richard Bachman has a very cool connection to King.... Stephen King has also used the name Richard Bachman as an author. This is the second King tribute mask Bachman and I have created.

Since Canucks mascot guy is named Johnny, just like Jack Nicholson's character in the movie The Shining, it would be a cool fit to create the famous -Heeeere's Johnny scene, with Nicholson from the movie on one side, and the same scene but with Johnny Canuck on the other side.

Wait, Vitek Vaneck is an ECHL goalie and Bachman played like 1 game, somehow this cracks me up for whatever reason to see them have a mask revealed in this thread.

Lehner's mask is cool and I am even more shocked that it's DA's work, if he did more stuff like this sans the crazy flares, I'd like him more. Riemer's mask looks cool, no clue what the hell it is, maybe it needs a different angle?

That C logo on Backstrom's mask is neat, never seen that before, that'd make a pretty awesome third jersey logo.

It's the shoulder patch on their thirds, but I agree, it's so much better than the crap main logo on the jersey

Ah that could be why, I rarely notice a shoulder logo unless it's very unique, I haven't seen the Flames play in their thirds to notice that logo at all unfortunately, at least until Backs put it on his mask.

Here is the new mask! Donkey Duck is a goalie with a Ducks mask... He is on top of the mask, his goal is to get that Stanley Cup, you can find it behind him, of course in a pixelated style...! Donkey Duck is throwing barrels just like in the classic game... He throws at the ones trying to grab the cup! The barrels are first in pixel style on the mask... Then lower on the mask they transforms into more 3-D....

I love to create these Storyteller designs, with lots and lots of sweet details to be discovered all over the mask just like in an adventure book.
