They selected her 10th and she just signed a 3 year deal. I don't know why they decided to trade hee. Thought she looked fine.
Trade for Dempsey instead.

I thought she had really struggled, to be honest - zero points and the worse plus/minus on the team through seven games. And she spent a decent amount of time paired with Megan Keller.
Still... tough not to wonder if they're giving up on her too soon.

Boston made another trade. This time with Ottawa during the deadline.
Boston gets: F Lexie Adzija and the rights to F Caitrin Lonergan.
Ottawa gets: F Shiann Darkangelo
I really liked Darkangelo. Sad to see her go.
I'm still waiting for Boston to fix not having Jillian Dempsey on this team, but I digress.
Currently, Boston is up 1-0 against Toronto. Game is on NESN.

Haven't watched a game of theirs in a while and didn't even know they were on. Isn't their schedule only like 28 games or something?
It's a very short season. I'm honestly surprised they even got this league up and running as fast as they did. It was very rushed.
I will say, the arenas are packed and it's awesome to see.
Toronto wins 2-1.
Thought it was ironic I have the Toronto laughs game against the Caps on instead, but also nesn is annoying to watch since hulu has like everything but nesn so in order to watch I'd have to switch to the Xfinity stream.

Well now there's a blast from the past of my kids youth playing days. My youngest played with her over at AV 'back in the day'. She was such a good kid, glad to see she's 'made it' and gets to stay home.
