Well that is a false statement because I too am a commissioner and I sent it to NE, and since there are 3 commissioners that makes it even less credible because how can you send it to both commissioners when there are 3 commissioners?

When one commish makes a deal, he has to send the deal to the other two (i.e., if I make a deal, I have to send it to you and NE, if NE makes a deal, he has to send it to you and I, ect.).

At least that's my understanding.

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have acquired veteran forward Jamal Mayers from the San Jose Sharks, in exchange for enforcer Jody Shelley. "Jody is a good player, but with the depth on our team, there was no room for him anymore." Said the Flyers GM. "We also clear some cap in this deal, which is something we desperately needed to do. We wish Jody the best of luck in his return to the Sharks."
