And Kyle Connor is the player MB used as a comparison to Caufield. He was saying that Caufield is similar to someone like Connor, who can find ways to score even if there is nothing really there. They can create a scoring chance out of nothing.

Caufield wanted to turn pro 2 years ago... He ain't wasting anymore time in college. He has nothing to prove there. He's coming here 100%.

When asked about signing with Habs, Caufield said what you'd expect him to say. He said he hasn't thought about it. They just lost and I don't want to think about anything else right now. I will take a few days.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. I remember both Poehling and Primeau signed on the same day (a few hours apart) and they both signed the day after their teams were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament.
