If BU and Minnesota win their respective games today, then they will face each other in the Providence Regional Final on Saturday.

No idea if Canadiens plan to sign Pitlick to an ELC or an AHL ATO, but if they do, then by Saturday, either Pitlick or Hutson and Tuch will be heading home.

Of course, if an upset occurs today, then they could become available as of today.

UMass is taking it to Denver right now. Just tied it at 1. #21 for Denver, Anderson, was terrible on the shift. He gave the puck away.

So, are we hoping for a swift exit for BU so we can see the next steps for him to get into a Habs uniform?

they will smoke RIT most likely as BU is easily one of the best teams in the NCAA but in single elimination anything can happen as Poehling's team found out twice in what is the very rare choke job of the #1 see losing to the #16 seed or in this case the #2 seed vs the #15 seed.

UMass taking Denver into OT. 1-1 at end of regulation. UMass was the final team added in the selection show, I believe. Denver is ranked #3 in the nation.

UMass playing a hard, physical game & trapping the shit out of Denver. A good game, though.

Wow! Hrabal just made an unbelievable, game saving save for UMass. Incredible.

Hrabal with a terrific leg save after an awful turnover by his D right in the f***ing slot.

Damn, Denver's netminder Davis has been terrific too. Great goaltending in this game.

Denver and UMass going into Double OT.
Devine had the game winner on his stick he should have fed his wide open team mate with a two foot pass instead of trying his back hand.

RIT holding their own so far but you get the sense BU are slowly getting their game legs underneath them.

Yeah, he did. Hrabal made a great save on it too.

Ooops, Denver PK coming up, because Sam Harris tripped a guy off the faceoff.

Davis might be hurt after an awkward fall off a shot. Looks like groin, maybe. Backup coming in?
