MLB desperately needs a cap floor. That's pathetic.

How many clubs would basically fold if there was a meaningful floor though?

I don't get baseball. No such thing as a regulation field, "home run" means something different in each town, you get banned for life for gambling but the game's biggest cheater ever is basically heralded as a GOAT, and there's no competitive balance because of the lack of a meaningful cap/floor.

How is this considered a sport?

Adjusting a spending floor to attract some FAs to smaller clubs would be offset by the profit sharing from the luxury tax, I assume.
