Puig Signed with the Braves a few days ago

Actually he wasn't signed yet with the Braves. They were near finalizing the deal when Puig tested positive for COVID and the deal fell through lol..

That's what you call a double whammy

MLB going to be in for a real fine season. Toronto doesn't even know where they'll be playing home games. Baltimore?

I mainly just want to see how many teams bean Astros and how often. Open season, baby.

2 weeks out for Soto is going to hurt A LOT in a 60 game season. That's like 1/4th of the season right there.

How did they even let him play in summer camp? How did Soto get Rona? While being in camp?

He was quarantined already for the first 2 weeks of training camp because he was in contact with someone that had it. I'm sure he was tested in the meantime, but sometimes test results can come up negative while early during infection.

Damn. This could mean that the entire Nationals team could be infected.. Or a lot of players.

So he practiced with the team after getting tested, a test that came back positive...

So baseball Covid test take 2 days for results, so on Monday Soto could have infected all of the Nats and O’s.

And the Nats could potentially infect all the Yankees while waiting for test results. This season couldn’t start off worst for MLB

Canada also banned the Toronto Blue Jays from playing in Canada so the Jays today are asking the Orioles to share their stadium in Baltimore - which Maryland has to sign off on. Talk about a train wreck season.

Did Pittsburgh say no? I thought the Jays and Pirates schedules almost worked out perfectly to have very few shared home dates.
