I'll say it again, AFAIC, the season doesn't truly start for this team until Game 1 of the ECF. This is all just window dressing. If they are not in the ECF, then something has gone dramatically wrong. All the teeth-gnashing for a team that is off to a franchise-historical start is humorous, especially given this team's MO the past few years. This season feels about as bloodless a season as I have ever felt as a sports fan in my 40 some-odd years of watching. Wake me up in May.
It's the schedule--it feels like the Rangers haven't played a game vs a "real" rival all season, they're just so few and far between.
