This team is ass dude. Having Klefbom out for the season was the nail in the coffin. No one on our defense can take on those minutes. The goaltending is also really sketchy. Sure, we will be able to win some games if McDavid scores 2 or 3 goals but don't expect this team to make the playoffs

Bear didn't play after his mistake on the Tatar goal to my memory. The NHL play-by-play doesn't mention him once after that goal.

Nobody from the team said he was benched, but no injury has been mentioned. Why else wouldn't he play the last 10 minutes of the game?
