Was going to post Monahan until I scanned this one. My very first MLG game in the early seventies sitting in the top row of the Gardens, Monahan gave the puck away for a goal late in the game, the Leafs were already getting pounded and the rink was deadly silent. A leather lung yelled out” Monahan there’s a bus leaving for Rochester at midnight be under it”
I think Rochester had been a Leaf affiliate but wasn’t at the time. Oklahoma of the central league was the main farm team of the Leafs then but not sure.
