That was a dynamite pass by Duke to Rieder, in the slot. It's too bad Rieder couldn't quite get a handle on it. Better cut down Duke's ice time some more, in favor of Richardson.

Rieder has been a tad cold on the goal scoring front. But his 200ft game is still solid which is a great sign from a young player.

Tippett has a Moss/Chipchura tier crush on Richardson, but unlike the other two, Richardson is an actual NHL player, and even a competent one at that, so I tolerate it.

First period was really split in half. First half Yotes were driving the play, Preds really took over after their PP opportunities. Martinook-Richardson-Doan still working out there.

Hanzal doesn't look as good as last game.
