I don’t see how Raymond goes in the top 5 rn. Not having a stellar season as some expected....
I switched rankings of Byfield and Raymond, so I'm a little down on him right now. He has been good this season playing for Sweden in international tournaments such as the recent U20 Four Nations Tournament a couple of weeks ago, but he has to improve his play before the end of the season for his club team or questions have to be asked. Frölunda has already a good right-shot winger depth with Rakhshani, Lasch, Fagemo and Friberg so it's not the easiest situation, but I hoped he would do better. Still a long way to go and I expect him to improve in the later stages of the season.

I'd disagree. He's just been given very limited ice time so far, and hasn't had good linemates. Considering the situation he's producing pretty well

I agree it's frustrating that he's been limited. Frolunda is stacked and it's fair that he needs to adjust to play pro hockey. But he hasn't been ready to Frolunda's standards. A loan should be figured out if he continues to progress mightily in juniors.

With that said, playing in the J20 and Swedish Junior Tourneys doesn't scream to me as a top 5 pick. I think it's more deserving for others who are providing for their teams left and right on a pro basis. Some examples could be Lundell, Holtz or even Askarov. I would argue that some CHL guys, like Perfetti and Rossi, could surpass, ATM.

Don't get me wrong, he has a ton of potential, but with Frolunda's situation along with team trust/confidence in him, he's gonna drop. Could be a similar situation as Filip Forsberg's draft year.

Right. Like I mentioned above, I think he would need to be loaned out to Allsvenskan or the CHL to help his case. Otherwise, I think he's gonna drop in the consensus. I don't think there has been a scenario where a kid playing in J20 while getting limited time in the SHL has gone in the top 5.
