I'd disagree. He's just been given very limited ice time so far, and hasn't had good linemates. Considering the situation he's producing pretty well
I agree it's frustrating that he's been limited. Frolunda is stacked and it's fair that he needs to adjust to play pro hockey. But he hasn't been ready to Frolunda's standards. A loan should be figured out if he continues to progress mightily in juniors.
With that said, playing in the J20 and Swedish Junior Tourneys doesn't scream to me as a top 5 pick. I think it's more deserving for others who are providing for their teams left and right on a pro basis. Some examples could be Lundell, Holtz or even Askarov. I would argue that some CHL guys, like Perfetti and Rossi, could surpass, ATM.
Don't get me wrong, he has a ton of potential, but with Frolunda's situation along with team trust/confidence in him, he's gonna drop. Could be a similar situation as Filip Forsberg's draft year.
