Any Mustang owners?

I have a 1969 Mach 1 R code car.

Great paint, convertible and crazy fast! Very nice ride
#42 off the line. Was built in February of 2011, took delivery in March of 2011.

Have a certificate of Authenticity signed by Carroll Shelby (RIP). Only 6 total vehicles made that year to my same specs. ;)

Engine was hand built at the Romeo Engine plant's Niche line... have a plate on the engine with the signatures of the two engine builders.

Went over 44,000 miles this driving season.

Was once the fastest stock mustang in the maritimes.
Thought I would add a pic from 2000 when I first bought it.

wasn’t there a turbo 4? Straight 6? A couple v6 options? Smaller v8?

must have been early 80s
Yes the early 80s in 87 with the new changes they just went with the 2.3 or 5.0. 86 was the last year for a V6 and turbo.

Those GT350 cars are really nice. Definitely will be collectables.
Not sure about the base GT350, but the R definitely will be. The used market for them is already crazy, and I think they only made around 3000 total, whereas they made close to 30000 of the base one. Still, I love my car and the lack of collectability makes it easier for me to justify driving it as my daily.

I have a 1964½ coupe that's never getting finished at this rate. Leaning towards a 2.3L EcoBoost swap with the trend of gas prices.

Brother has a Silver Smoke Grey 1965 K-code fastback, beautifully restored.

Current project in the family garage is a 1971 Mustang 429 SCJ 4-speed sportsroof, believed to be the Ford factory drag car for the 1971 season.

Other projects we'll be selling are another 1965 K-code fastback, 1972 Q-code CJ convertible and 1971 351C Mach 1.

Lots of Fox 5.0s in the past, they were mostly jank.

Went on vacation, got a Mustang convertible as my rental. Did some driving in the CA and NV desert.

They go fast.
Going on vacation and renting a Mustang convertible in Florida is why I ended up buying one. It was so fun to drive, I just had to get one of my own!

I bought an Ecoboost and love it! It's still a powerful car and a lot of fun to drive. I'm winter-driving it on summer tires here in Winnipeg and there have been some fun moments with trying to avoid getting stuck after a few of our snowstorms, but overall it's been pretty good! Every time I start it and hear that growl, I can't help smiling.
