Keith, Seabrook (when he was a legitimate D man) and Hjalmarsson bailing him out...

He really isn't as bad as he's been playing. We wouldn't have our 2015 cup without him as he was a beast stepping in for Crawford for that series.

I'd also say Chi being a possession team helps being that it's hard to get scored on when you control the puck so often but isn't Carolina towards the top In possession numbers this season?

I never understood why anyone would give a four-year contract and hand over the starting job to a guy who's never been a starter in his NHL career. It's a recipe for disaster.
