Thanks Abby.

I hope to see Billins tonight. He could be a much needed shake-up on our bottom pairing

I'm not sure it's a great idea to give Berra his first start against the defending champs but maybe they'll be confused? Win by confusion, I'll take it.

He isn't expected to play but he couldn't be worse than Smith could he?

I will admit that both Butler and SOB have improved over the past few games. Butler has really stepped up in Gio's absence, whereas Brodie seems to have been affected negatively. But how good has Russell been for us this year?! He's been a real stud.

Honestly, it seems as if many good, young defenseman decline in their 2nd year in the NHL. I mean, take a look at Myers, Larsson, or even Schenn.

Then again, there's Brodin who has looked even better than last season.

Yea so far my mouth is full of crow about Russell. I was never that impressed with him in STL but right now I would say he is a solid #4 defenseman and an amazing pick up.

I think the Hawks will play their back-up tonight. That's what's kinda great about being an underdog.

I'll put my money on the Flames tonight. A bounce back from Detroit is in order and Id be willing to be Hartely can get our club going against the Cup Winners just because we could say that we were good enough to beat them.

most the GDT is up and going, just need a Hawks lineup and their GDT just came up as well with no lineups in it yet.

In B4 its Backlund's fault :sarcasm:

I think Hartely needs to adjust the forward lines. Id like to see this:

GlenX - Stajan - Jones
Cammy - Colb - Backlund
Bart - Mono - Hudler
Bouma - Gali - McGrat

I would actually like to see something similar but give the line a regular shift with the centermen (Backlund included) taking turns double shifting with Bouma and Galiardi when Grats isn't on the ice.
