Even more one-sided than I was expecting. That being said, time will tell as at least up until this year they had a reliable backup in Raanta since they got him from us.

That being said, based on the past couple of years, the Habs without Price are nothing. The Rangers without Lundqvist are still at least decent, if not still good.

No comparison, clearly Price. I don't think that any team relies on one single player more than the Habs with Price.

Yes but Talbot and Raanta was 1B type of goaltenders in the back up role behind Lundqvist and both will be starters next season. So how well the team has played without Lundqvist is more up to the strenght of Talbot and Raanta.

What if Lundqvist was longtime injury and Montoya or Condon was the Nr 1 for a longer time for the Rangers in earlier seasons that will be the the question here.

You said it right there. NYR has had 1B goalies to fall back on, so if they lost him it wasn't as big a deal. Therefore less valuable to his team

voted Hank. If your talking about right now its Price but as a fan of a team who lost to the NY Lundqvists a lot in the playoffs its Hank. Most years the rangers were garbage but Hank made 75 saves and stole games in the playoffs. Its sad that he appeared to be finally going a little south last season. He Definitely stole a few 3rd round appearances from OV. Would love to see what Ovis playoffs stats would like had he not played against the best goalie in the league almost every year in the first 2 rounds. Price was irrelevant before the last 4 years.
